Clarie Ku

Our Chairman has extensive leadership experience spanning finance, innovation, and international policy. She was Executive Director of a leading financial institution in Hong Kong, where she brings expertise in risk management, compliance, and digital transformation. Previously, our Chairman served as Deputy Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury in the Hong Kong government, helping shape key financial and regulatory policies. In 2001, she was appointed global President of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), where she led international coordination on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing post-9/11, working closely with the U.S. Treasury, IMF, and World Bank. Our Chairman was the founding CEO of the China-United States Exchange Foundation, focused on fostering U.S.–China dialogue in trade, innovation, and policy. She continues to advise local and international organizations at the intersection of tech and regulation, having served on the board of a 100-year old retail brand. She holds a Master’s in Management from Stanford University, a Master of Laws from the University of London, is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors, and was the local representative of Wolfson College, Oxford University.
